Michael Danko, MD

Dr. Michael Danko is an interventional pain management physician who is board certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine.

He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2008. Then, he completed his residency and fellowship training at the University of Cincinnati in 2013.

Following training, Dr. Danko has worked in private practice in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas for Advanced Pain Treatment Center and Comprehensive Pain Specialists. In 2016, Dr. Danko opened the Premier Pain Treatment Institute. He is a principal investigator on numerous clinical research studies and serves as a consultant for multiple neuromodulation and minimally invasive spine therapies.

With multiple publications and presentations at national conferences, Dr. Danko brings cutting edge, evidence-based care for his patients. He is also known for his calming and compassionate demeanor while providing safe, patient-centered therapies.

Dr. Danko’s comprehensive treatment plans include clinically appropriate interventional pain procedures, minimally invasive surgical procedures, and focused medication management. Dr. Danko is committed to ensuring that patients and referring providers in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas have a high quality solution for pain management services.

Dr. Danko is an active member of the Ohio Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, American Society of Pain and Neuroscience, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, North American Neuromodulation Society, and Internal Neuromodulation Society. He also holds hospital staff privileges at Anderson Mercy, Clermont Mercy, Good Samaritan, and Bethesda North Hospitals.

Tim Feldheim, MD

What is the most fulfilling part of your job at PPTI? The most fulfilling part of my job at PPTI is finding a successful therapy that works for a patient, and not just being able to help a patient be out of pain, but able to restore a better quality of life for the patient.

April Egbert, NP​

Title: Nurse Practitioner

Educational Background: I have my Bachelor Degree in Nursing from University of Cincinnati. I have a Masters Degree in Education with a focus in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University as well as a Post Masters Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner From Northern Kentucky University.

What is the most fulfilling part of your job at PPTI? I really enjoy seeing my patients every month. I enjoy establishing a relationship and providing the best options to help treat their pain.

Courtney Guilfoyle, NP​

Title: Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C)

Educational Background: Undergraduate at the University of Kentucky where I obtained my bachelor’s degree in nursing. In 2016 I graduated from the University of Cincinnati where I completed the Family Nurse Practitioner program and obtained my masters degree in nursing. Certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Hometown: Morrow, OH, but currently reside in Oregonia.

Hobbies or Interests: Reading, camping, and creating memories with my husband and 4 children!

What is the most fulfilling part of your job at PPTI? The most fulfilling part about my job at PPTI is the relationships that I have created with my patients! I believe that a strong patient-physician relationship is the foundation of any treatment plan. In addition, the ability to positively impact a patient’s quality of life with the cutting edge treatment options that we offer, is so rewarding!
