Michael Danko, MD
Dr. Michael Danko is an interventional pain medicine physician who is board certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine. He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 2008. Then, he completed his residency and fellowship training at the University of Cincinnati in 2013. Following training, Dr. Danko has worked in private practice in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas for Advanced Pain Treatment Center and Comprehensive Pain Specialists. He has also served as a sub-investigator for clinical research trials for lumbosacral radiculopathy, opioid-induced constipation, opioid dependence, and spinal cord stimulation. In 2016, Dr. Danko left CPS to open the Premier Pain Treatment Institute.
With multiple publications and presentations at national conferences, Dr. Danko brings cutting edge, evidence-based care for his patients. He is also known for his calming and compassionate demeanor while providing safe, patient-centered therapies. Dr. Danko’s comprehensive treatment plans include focused medication management and clinically appropriate interventional pain procedures. Dr. Danko is committed to ensuring that patients and referring providers in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas have a high-quality solution for pain management services.
Dr. Danko is an active member of the Academy of Medicine of Cincinnati, American Society of Regional Anesthesia, North American Neuromodulation Society, and Internal Neuromodulation Society. He also holds hospital staff privileges at Anderson Mercy, Clermont Mercy, and Bethesda North Hospitals.
Kyle Ingebritson, Chief Executive Officer
Kyle Ingebritson is the CEO of Premier Pain Treatment Institute (PPTI) and is the CEO of Business Development at Premier Surgical Institute (PSI).
As the CEO of PPTI, Kyle is responsible for strategic practice growth, marketing, staff development, physician recruitment, and additional practice support and relationships.
Prior to joining PPTI, Kyle was a Sales Representative at Medtronic under the Neuromodulation division. He covered Greater Washington D.C. and then the Cincinnati market for nearly 13 years. Kyle was with Ethicon, Inc. before joining Medtronic, managing accounts throughout the Washington D.C. area.
Kyle is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and was active duty in the Air Force serving as a Maintenance Officer for C-17’s at Charleston, AFB in Charleston, S.C.
When not working, Kyle enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 children. He has a passion for anything active, outdoors, and enjoys discovering local breweries.
Kristen Luebrecht, MBA, MOT, OTR/L
Chief Financial Officer
Kristen Luebrecht teamed up with Dr. Danko in 2016 to open Premier Pain Treatment Institute. She began as the office manager, has transitioned through many roles, and is now the Chief Financial Officer. Kristen has always worked in the medical field since she graduated from The Ohio State University with a Master of Occupational Therapy in 2006. After graduation, she worked in Skilled Nursing Facilities for 10 years before transitioning to the business side of healthcare at Premier Pain Treatment Institute. Kristen went back to school in 2021 to pursue a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration and completed her MBA in September of 2023. She has been instrumental in the expansion of Premier Pain Treatment Institute and takes great pride in continuously working to improve the patient experience.
In her free time, Kristen enjoys cycling on the Little Miami bike trail, cheering on the OSU Buckeyes, traveling, and attending her kids’ various sporting events.
Shruti Amin, MD
Dr. Shruti Amin is a board-certified sports medicine & interventional spine pain management physician and physiatrist. She completed her PM&R residency training at One Brooklyn Health and her pain fellowship at Dayton Outpatient Center. During her time in residency, she published multiple articles relating to pain management including one in the most recent textbook in PM&R. She recently continued clinical research in pain management as a sub-investigator at META research institute. Her clinical approach is based on the best interest of the patient and as if she is treating a friend or a loved one. Dr. Amin focuses not only to diminish pain, but also to promote movement to reestablish function and quality of life.
Specializing in a variety of pain conditions, Dr. Amin offers excellence in care in treating neck and back pain, peripheral joint pain, neuropathic pain, fibromyalgia, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), pelvic pain, and post-surgical pain. She is skilled in interventional procedures such as medial branch blocks, various types of epidural injections, genicular blocks, sacroiliac injections, sympathetic blocks, ultrasound-guided peripheral injections, BOTOX for migraine, and minimally invasive spinal procedures for spinal stenosis and chronic pain. Dr. Amin is also skilled in an array of interventional therapies for cancer pain, including plexus blocks.
Among her areas of expertise, Dr. Amin has a special interest in the most advanced techniques of spinal cord stimulation and offers treatment for leg pain, back pain, CRPS, peripheral neuropathy, sciatica, and continued spine pain following surgery. She is a member of North American Neuromodulation Society, Spine Intervention Society, and American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. She continues to remain at the forefront of innovative procedures and emerging technology.

I received my Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies degree from Charleston Southern University and practiced in the field of pain management there prior to relocating to the Greater Cincinnati area. I am passionate about the field of pain medicine and serving those around me.
When not working, I enjoy staying active, traveling, and playing disc-golf. I am dedicated to making a positive impact in Greater Cincinnati and continually strive for the best for my patients.
