Professional Credentials
Dr. Wesley Youngblood brings expertise in the comprehensive treatment of chronic pain conditions and has a particular interest in advanced interventional procedures including spinal cord stimulation, ultrasound-guided injections, radiofrequency ablation, and other minimally invasive techniques.
Dr. Youngblood completed his fellowship in Pain Medicine at the University of Kentucky, following a residency in anesthesiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Youngblood earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi, where he also completed his undergraduate and master’s studies.
Throughout his training, Dr. Youngblood has been recognized for excellence in pain medicine, receiving the J. Antonio Aldrete Award during residency. He has presented research at national conferences, including the North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS), and has participated in global health service trips to Haiti and Nicaragua.
Dr. Youngblood is an active member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, the International Pain & Spine Intervention Society, and the Kentucky Society of Anesthesiologists.
