Regain Control Over Chronic Pain with Advanced Stimulation Therapies
Neurostimulators
Neurostimulators are small, implantable devices designed to help manage chronic pain by delivering electrical signals to specific nerves. These devices work by interrupting pain signals before they reach the brain, offering relief for conditions such as chronic back pain, nerve pain, and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS). Neurostimulators consist of a pulse generator implanted beneath the skin and thin wires, called leads, that deliver the electrical impulses to the targeted area. Patients can customize their therapy using a handheld remote, allowing for a tailored, non-medication-based approach to long-term pain management.
Pain Pumps
Pain pumps, also known as intrathecal drug delivery systems, are implantable devices that provide targeted pain relief by delivering medication directly to the spinal fluid. By bypassing the digestive system, pain pumps allow for smaller doses of medication to be used, often with fewer side effects compared to oral medications. This treatment is particularly effective for patients with chronic pain conditions such as cancer pain, nerve pain, or pain following spinal surgeries. The device includes a small reservoir implanted under the skin that is periodically refilled by a healthcare provider, ensuring consistent and personalized pain control.
Minimally Invasive Surgery
Minimally invasive surgery (MIS) is an advanced surgical technique designed to treat pain with smaller incisions, less tissue disruption, and faster recovery times compared to traditional open surgery. Using specialized tools and imaging technology, these procedures target the source of pain with precision, making them ideal for conditions like herniated discs, spinal stenosis, and joint pain. MIS offers significant benefits, including reduced pain after surgery, lower risk of complications, and a quicker return to daily activities, providing patients with an effective and efficient path to long-term relief.
