Over the past four years, Kyle Ingebritson has played a transformative role at Premier Pain Treatment Institute (PPTI), steering the organization through strategic growth and cultural evolution. As CEO of both PPTI and its surgical counterpart, Premier Surgical Institute, Kyle brings a dynamic blend of experience, empathy, and forward-thinking leadership to every aspect of the practice.
A Journey from the Air Force to Executive Leadership
Before joining PPTI, Kyle built a diverse background in both military and medical sectors. He began his professional career as a Maintenance Office in the United States Air Force, where he honed the discipline and leadership skills that continue to guide him today. He then transitioned to the healthcare industry, working as a device representative for Medtronic and Johnson & Johnson, two of the largest medical technology companies in the world. These early roles gave Kyle a deep appreciation for both operational excellence and patient-centered care, setting the foundation for his future in healthcare leadership.
Driving Growth and Culture at PPTI
Since stepping into his role as CEO, Kyle has overseen a period of rapid expansion and meaningful innovation at PPTI. Under his leadership, the organization has:
- Opened a new clinic in Middletown, Ohio
- Launched an in-house confirmation lab
- Completed and accredited Premier Surgical Institute, an ambulatory surgery center
- Successfully transitioned to a new electronic medical record system
- Recruited top-tier providers to expand clinical expertise
- Strengthened the practice’s SEO and digital presence
But for Kyle, the most rewarding accomplishment isn’t tied to systems or infrastructures, it’s about people.
“Our success is built on the strength of our team,” he shares. “That only happens when people feel supported and believe in the company and its mission.”
This focus on culture has become a cornerstone of PPTI’s identity, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment that encourages both professional development and high-quality patient care.
A Passion for People and Progress
When asked what he enjoys most about his work, Kyle doesn’t hesitate: it’s the patients and the people.
“Two things bring me the most joy at PPTI: meeting patients and hearing their success stories, and working alongside our staff to support their professional growth.”
His leadership style reflects the same sentiment. Kyle describes himself as someone who leads by example, finding joy in helping others reach their full potential.
Reflecting on the Past, Focused on the Future
Looking back, Kyle says he has no regrets, just lessons learned.
“It’s important to learn from the past without dwelling on it,” he says. “While I’m proud of how far we’ve come, I do with we still had the opportunity to work with some of the outstanding individuals who have since moved on.”
As for the future, Kyle’s vision is both adaptative and steadfast.
“I often say, ‘Flexibility is the key to pain management.’ The healthcare industry is always evolving, and we have to be ready for what’s next. But no matter how we grow, our mission remains the same: helping patients manage their pain.”
With that mission as his compass, Kyle Ingebritson continues to guide PPTI and Premier Surgical Institute toward a future built on innovation, compassion, and lasting impact.
