PPTI Adds Premier Surgical Institute to Practice

Premier Pain Treatment Institute is excited to announce the addition of an ambulatory surgical center to the practice, Premier Surgical Institute.

Having already achieved AAAHC/ Medicare-Deemed status accreditation, Premier Surgical Institute is a standalone, physician-owned Ambulatory Surgery Center. The expanded facility will accommodate multi-specialty surgical procedures, with the main focus being on minimally invasive surgery for pain management. PSI is equipped with two operating rooms and one procedure room.

Premier Surgical Institute will provide patients with the convenience of having surgeries and procedures performed safely outside of the hospital setting. “With the opening of a licensed and accredited ambulatory surgery center, I think it takes the ‘Premier’ practice to a whole new level,” said Jennifer Craft, BSN, RN, the Director of Nursing for Premier Surgical Institute. “For most patients that require surgery, they will no longer have to go elsewhere, they can come here.”

PSI’s Care Team, led by Dr. Michael Danko and Dr. Joseph Wray, is committed to helping all patients achieve relief, comfort, and independence. Premier Surgical Institute strives to be at the forefront of pain management in an ambulatory surgical environment.

Setting PSI apart from other ambulatory surgical centers is the unique organizational structure. As PSI is a standalone, surgeon-owned ASC, the Administrative Team is also the Clinical Team. “Patients will see some familiar faces from Premier Pain Treatment Institute, as well as other experienced surgical staff,” said Mrs. Craft. “I’m excited to see the first patients walk in the door, and I can finally tell them they are in the right place.”

Premier Surgical Institute is scheduled to open in May of 2024. They’ll offer a wide variety of minimally invasive spine and pain management procedures, including, but not limited to, spinal cord stimulator implants, ITP implants, sacroiliac joint fusions, and MILD procedures.
